Re: any one remember my father Jacko

 Hello Michael

I am the Hon Historian of the 97 (Straits Settlements) Squadron Association.  I am in the process of researching the Squadron's post-war era and I do have some information about "Jacko" Jackson and a photo of him with the rest of the Squadron's aircrew, taken in June 1965.

I would be very keen to learn more about his background and upbringing etc (e.g. being a rugby player).  I can be contacted on kb64uk@aol.com

Best wishes,

Kevin

Michael,

I am sending you this reply on behalf of my father, Flight Leiutenant David Waltham.  Mr father served with your father and he wanted to send you a letter in response to your notice board on the RAF Watton web site.

I have therefore written the letter below.  Should you wish to reply directly to my father his details are on the letter and he would be more than happy to hear from you.  Should you wish to reply by e-mail to him you can e-mail me as he does not have an e-mail address yet - debra.baldwin1@btopenworld.com.

My father would love to hear from you as he enjoyed putting the letter together and remembering the happy times that he had.

Regards

Debra Baldwin
